Getting SSN after COS to H1B

Applying for an SSN is free. Take the following documents to your nearest SSN office:
1. Latest i94 on the i797a document.
2. One of the following:Your foreign passport/ USA state issued License ID/ USA drivers License.

After you get your waiting ticket in the office, fill in the New SSN application form available in the office. After you submit the above documents along with the form, you will be issued a letter from the officer that you have applied for the SSN. You will get your SSN within 14 days of application provided they are able to verify your status through DHS online.

Tips:
1. Wait till you receive your i797a document. The i797c document is not sufficient.
2.You cannot make a prior appointment for getting a new SSN, you need to wait in line for your turn. So its better to go in early morning 15 minutes before they open.

Installing Windows 8 on Mac.

Right click in Windows 8 on MAC

Right click in Windows 8 on Mac is disabled by default. To make a secondary click yo should do a two finger click. Alternatively you could enable right click, through the Boot Camp Control Panel, available in the Windows Task Bar. Just go the Trackpad tab and under the One Finger options, enable Secondary Click and choose 'Bottom Right Corner'.
